The estate is characterised by its traditional architecture, which has been carefully preserved to maintain its authentic charm. The main building of La Casería de Tomillos features spacious and bright rooms that are perfect for hosting workshops, strategy days, remote work, and other business-related activities.
La Casería De Tomillo was once a fortified house, located on a small hill, inhabited since prehistoric times. Built after the Catholic the reconquest of Spain, it was then expanded. When bought in 1998 it was in a dilapidated condition. It took over ten years to restore and revives today an important part of the European cultural heritage. The building today embraces two symmetrical courtyards and provides 2,500 m2 of living space in two floors. The renovation preserved the original elements with modern amenities. The yards have become elegant gardens with contrast to the beautiful, surrounding landscape.

A blissful intimate stay, La Casería is elevated in a stunning peaceful location for breathtaking, romantic devotion weddings. Centering around La Caserías own 16th century Chapel, the rooms, lush gardens and courtyard have all been restored in a modern rustic style and carefully designed to offer you several unique spaces to celebrate each element of your special day.
Retreat
La Caseria can accommodate up to 20 people. Bigger groups can stay in the close-by town of Ronda or Málaga. There is plenty of space to accommodate various events at the same time making everyone feel at home. Our resident house-keeper Lucia and her team offer delicious home-cooked meals, decided upon your arrival.
